A Little Reindeer

Hi All

Christine here today... Hope you're all well and preparing for the holiday season - cards all made and ready to send?  If so, you're better and far more organised than me!! LOL!

I'm here to share a little simple gift tag I made using the gorgeous Little Reindeer - available HERE.

He's such a cutie - and very easy to colour using Copics - E30 thru to E35, then a touch of E57. Of course, he had to have a bright red nose and berries, and green holly too!

If you'd like more details of colours and dies etc... pop over to my blog HERE - I'd love to see you!

Big hugs and Happy Crafting..

Turkey Thank You!

First off, Happy belated Thanksgiving to my US friends!  Hope you had a wonderful day... and enjoyed your Black Friday shopping.  I'm not one who enjoys waking up early OR crowds, so if you slept in, then I hope you enjoyed that too.  I sure did!!  haha.

This cutie is "Turkey Split" and he can be found in the Thanksgiving section of the Whimsie Doodles Store.  Truth time: I had to google "cartoon turkey" in order to figure out how to color his tail, and what color his snood is.  YES, that red thing hanging off his beak is called a 'snood.'  I thought it was a 'wattle,' but apparently that's what hangs off a turkey's neck.  I looked it up!!! Useless information that I've now shared with my friends in blog land!!! haha!!

Anywhoo, back to the card.  I printed him so big (don't know why, just did!) that he took up a lot of the card!!!  So I decided to go minimalistic with the patterned paper.  And no embellishments this time around.  I kind of like the CAS look this card has!!  The last thing I did was to run a brown sharpie around the edges of the 'thank you' banner so that it would stand out, as it's the same orange as the base and I didn't want it to get completely lost!!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Turkey Leftovers Day!! haha!!

Snow Stuck

Hi Whimsie Doodles Fans,

It's Andrea here, wishing you a happy Friday.

Can you believe there are only 34 days till Christmas - arghh! Where has the time gone.  I hope you are all managing to get your Christmas cards done. Today I would like to share a card I made using one of Melyssa's adorable snowman.  This super fun image is called Snow Stuck and can be found here.

I decided to use some bright non-traditional colours for my card, and used lots of glitter and some glossy accents on the candy.

If you would like to know what supplies I used please pop along to my blog.

Have a great Friday, see you again soon
Hugs Ax

Eat Ham

Hi everyone!  It's Susie and I'm here to show you this card using

Don't you love the sign?  Eat ham....ha ha ha.  I found the sentiment stamp and couldn't believe my luck! I added the die cut ampersand in the middle to connect the two sentiments.

I used my Silhouette Cameo to die cut my sign carrying turkey and then I colored him with Copic markers and some Wink of Stella.  I stacked the image three deep to give him some depth.

This card is on my blog today, and I'd love for you
to visit me whenever you can.

Make it a great day!

Thankful Pilgrim

Ok, so I know it's Halloween, but I don't have a spooky card to show.  Instead, I've already moved on to the next holiday- Thanksgiving!  This is the Pilgrim image.  Isn't he adorable!  You can find him under the people section of the shop.  For this card, I colored this little guy up with my Copics and added some adorable fall paper.  Easy-peasy. Visit my blog for more details and pics :)

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Happy Halloween!!!

Oh SO Scary!

Hi Peeps.....

Christine here....  hope you're all doing OK and getting ready for Halloween..

I decided to make a tag today - and used one of the fabulous Halloween images from Whimsie Doodles available in the store HERE.

This is Frankie's Girl..... and she's about as far away from my usual style as it's possible to get......  but I did enjoy a little bit of zombie-fying!  Of course, she had to have a touch of dark silver holographic glitter in her hair... yes??

Pop over to my blog if you'd like to know the colours I used etc..

Big hugs
Christine x

It's almost Halloween!!!  Can you feel me geeking out from behind the computer?!?  haha!!

This is 'Spells' and it can be found at the very bottom of the Halloween Digis page.  I wanted to do something simple with this image because I didn't want to take away from it.  I just think it's so cute and I'm usually not someone who chooses to work with a lot of images that don't have people/animals in it.  But I liked this one... I think it was the big black cauldron and the book of spells with that star wand sitting on it!

I paired it up with more scrap paper and free-hand cut out that sentiment.  It's actually sitting on a black banner but I mis-gauged how big the sentiment was!!

Hope you have a wonderful and safe Halloween!  See you again soon!
