Beach Hat Ava

Hi Peeps

Christine here today - with today's inspiration card using the gorgeous little Beach Hat Ava - I've also used the Beach Border image to create a little scene for her.  We had lovely sunshine here in the UK when I made the card..  but today it's chilly and there is no way she'd be out in her swimsuit!

I did some paper piecing for her outfit and beach bag...  I found a scrap of paper with a tiny pattern which I think suited perfectly... but I also shaded using Copics to create some depth and shadow to the whole effect.

I'd love you to pop over to my blog HERE for more details - or to just say hi!! LOL!

Thanks for looking today..

What's Cookin?

Hello there!  Larisa checking in today with a  sweet little baking gift bag!  This image is Pie Lizzie and you can find her in the shop here.  Instead of making a card, I decided to make a little cookie gift bag.  Recently I've started decorating cookies so I was thinking I should start making some of these to give the cookies away in.  Very simple, but oh so cute!  Also, can I tell you I'm obsessed with mini clothes pins... I love them!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you're having a great week!

Be Unique

Hi Whimsie Doodles Friends,

It's Andrea here with some Doodlelicious Inspiration.  Shaker cards are very much on trend at the moment so I decided to create one using the awesome School of Fish digi.  I love these fish with their big eyes!

To make this card I printed the digi twice, with one of the images flipped so I could get a fish facing the opposite direction. I coloured three fish and the bottom gravel with my copics and cut them out.  I also completely cut out the inside of one of the fish bowls and replaced it with with acetate.   I lightly inked a portion of the card base, glued down the gravel and mounted the fish.  I added some seed beads and finally mounted the piece of card with the fish bowl to create my shaker.

Here is the view when the card is lying down:

And standing up:

I hope you like it.
Thanks for visiting, have a great day.

You're the Salt to my Pepper

Hi Friends!  Susie here with a card to inspire you today.

I used the Whimsie Doodles Salt & Pepper image as the focal point of my card.  I know that Valentine's Day has passed...but that doesn't mean we can't still tell our loved ones how we feel.  Don't you think someone in your life would like to be reminded of how special they are to you?  This is the perfect image for that!!  And if you add a heart to your will REALLY be expressing how you feel!

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a wonderful day!!

Pollen For You

Happy Friday, or as we say in Hawaii, Happy Aloha Friday!!

This is 'Pollen For You' on the This & That digis page.  I paired him up with some bee scrap paper and a fun flower embossed panel.  After coloring him up with copics I added some stickles to his wings to make him shine all over!!

I can't wait for summer!  We're actually getting in the spring time gardening mood here now that we've decided where we want our new garden to go, it's exciting!!  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Gnome Place Like Home

Hello, hello!  Larisa here bringing you a sweet little Gnome card!  For this project, I wanted to create something a little different so I used a Gate Fold card that opens in the middle.  I merged the Gnome Home with Gnomie in Microsoft Word to create one image, colored it up, and added this cute little mushroom paper.  You can find both of these images here!
Thanks so much!  Be sure to visit my blog for more info!

Say Cheese!

Hi everyone and happy Sunday,

It's Andrea here. Today I would like to share a card I made with the super sweet Photo Lizzie.
She is one of my favourite images, she is just so cute and I want her retro camera!  I found the perfect paper pad to go along with her with great strong, bold colours.

I hope you like her!  More details on the supplies I used can be found on my blog.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Happy crafting.

You're Paws-itively Fabulous

Hi Friends!  Susie here with a card for all you dog lovers.

I used one image from the Whimsie Doodles Paws I Care stamp set as the focal point of my card.  I think if I had a dog, this is surely what he would look like - absolutely adorable!!

This set has lots of cat and dog images and sentiments.  I can already imagine more cards using this sweet digi collection.

This time I thought it would be fun to place the main sentiment right on my puppy's dinner bowl.  I also added some googly eyes to make him even cuter!

This card is on my blog today and I'd love for you to visit me whenever you can.

Have a wonderful day!!
