What do you guys do for the 4th of July? We don't usually do anything but this year, we're going on a dinner cruise and watching the fireworks from the water on the boat! So excited!

Dad's Sippy Cup... 8-)

Hi All! Shannon here, wishing A VERY Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's & Grandad's out there! Today I'm back to share my latest Whimsie Doodles, Doodlelicious Diva creation featuring the Super Fun Dad's Sippy Cup image and paired it with one of Melyssa's Awesome Beer Mug Card Shape Print-n-Clip/SVG image...8-) At first, this was only to be a Grand Experiment..lol But, I kinda like how it turned out so I decided to Share it with you all... ;-)

Don't look too close now, lol I cut it out by hand so it's far from Perfection, lol.. But I had fun putting it together none the less..;-) The card base is 2 layers, one of Aqua CS from my stash and I topped it with a layer of Vellum for a Frosty mug look.. The rest is Yellow CS with a touch of shading from my trusty Copics & Lots of Liquid Applique for the foam! 8-)

And to finish it up, I colored up The Fun Dad's Sippy Cup image to use as emblem for my Beer mug.. I Just fussy cut it out, added  a touch more liquid Applique and popped it on top! And Voila, there you have it! 8-)

Super Dad

Hi there!

It's Laura here and it is my turn to share on the Whimsie Doodles blog today, and I have created Father's Day card.   This super fun image makes me smile and is just perfect for my hubby who does so much for us.

Isn't he darling?  I love the vintage colour scheme (vintage is so us) and the paper with buildings on it.. get it.... can leap over tall buildings in a single bound!  You can find him here in the Whimsie Doodles store.

My son has a great male teacher this year, I am going to use this same image and just change up the sentiment... I think it will be perfect!

Om...

Hello everyone!  Mary J here on this grey damp day in the UK!  It's quite depressing really - where is our summer?!  Breath deeply, breath deeply.... Well I think my card for you today is quite apt!

I really should get into yoga - looks so calming!  And this pretty lady is Yoga Lizzie and I just love that sweet heart and the bow in her hair!  I kept this really simple with just a touch of extra pink and used my Sizzix butterfly embossing folder.

I feel calmer already!  Thanks for visiting and I'll see you on Saturday with our new monthly challenge!

Hi All! Shannon Here...Hope you've all been having a Super week so far... Today I'm back to share my latest Whimsie Doodles, Doodlelicious Diva creation featuring the Super Cute Life Saver image!...8-) Isn't she just the Sweetest!...;-)

I Colored up my Sweet little Life Saver with my trusty Copics, Fussy cut her out, and popped her up with a bit of foam tape.

I paired her up with Websters Pages Yacht Club dp's and used Taylored Expression dies for the Sun, Clouds and Sentiment tag too. Hope you like her!... 8-)

I created this little watermelon card on my Silhouette just for this sweet image.  Love her little outfit and pony tail holders!

Smokin' hot fun

Happy Sunday everyone!  It's Mary J here with another Doodlelicious Diva make for you.  The sun is actually out here in the South East corner of this UK so this card is pretty apt for it...

BBQ!  I love BBQs!  And this fella is perfect for all those men who become chefs for those few times in the year!  This fella is the aptly named Smokin' Hot and he looks just like my Steve cooking those yummy steaks on our BBQ!  I created a lot of depth on this one with my foam pads and used a simple patterned paper to bring all the colours together.

Okay, I am off to enjoy the rest of my weekend - have a fab day yourself!
